Over promised and under delivered on quality of work, timing, and price. They made multiple mistakes that we had to point out, they damaged our property, it took over a year for our roof and siding to be completed, and they charged us over $3,000 for work they did not perform. Even after correcting the invoice, we were still out thousands of dollars and a lot of time from going with Badgerland Exteriors instead of most likely any other contractor. It would have been a one star review, but they gave us gutter guards and a small refund to compensate for some of the many issues.
P.S., the photos I posted are of the trash they left around ONLY my parents' detached garage from ONLY the siding job (that is, there is much, much more trash around the house, and these pics do not even include the trash they left behind from the roofing job, which was easily 2-3 times more). They also kicked a bunch of landscaping gravel into the yard and did not bother replacing it.

Badgerland Exteriors did my sister's roof and gutters, and my parents' roof, gutters, and siding. To be more accurate, they are doing but still haven't finished these jobs. They started my sister's roof on July 19th and still haven't finished it (50 DAYS LATER), and they removed (and destroyed, in the process) her newer gutters (less than 1-year-old) to do the roof, and still have not replaced them with new gutters. Moreover, they told my family these would be "1-day" jobs, and here we are, 50 DAYS LATER, and her old gutters are laying in her backyard, her new gutters are not installed, AND her 3-season front porch is leaking through the ceiling and causing structural damage because they removed the existing roof and STILL have not replaced it, 50 DAYS LATER. Nor did they finish my parents' siding or roof in "1-day", and in fact they started the siding and gutters on Thursday 14 September, told my mom they would be back to finish it the following day, pulled a no-show with zero communication, and the work remains unfinished as of today, Monday 18 September. These guys are professionals at promising "1-day jobs" but taking more jobs than they can handle and consequently leaving your projects unifinished for days or weeks, all while leaving their unused materials and trash scattered across your property. And their excuse is "a backlog of work, we are too busy, etc.". Here's a tip from business management 101: HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES, which they obviously avoid doing. Why? Maximixe profit at the customer's expense. Pathetic, immoral, and unprofessional.
The Badgerland experience was spectacular. Some of the best craftmanship I have ever experienced. So grateful of the tim edd and effort that was afforded to our windows. Excellent work and crew. I would recommend to anyone! Thanks Guys
I've worked in residential remodeling multiple times. These guys' performance is shoddy at best, and I would never recommend them to anyone, which is unfortunate considering that our local State Farm agent, Jim Miller, recommended Badgerland Exteriors to my family.
2) Average workmanship, unfinished projects, terrible communication, and staff that not only smoke on your property (literally, "on your property", as in while standing and working on top of your house), but also discard their cigarette butts in your yard.
Our 78 year-old home is what we would call an eclectic collection of additions with many corners, windows and entrances. Badgerland was contracted to remove the existing siding, add a layer of insulation, wrap the entire house (plus sunroom, garage and yard barn), replace the siding, wrap all windows and doorways and replace three windows. There was over 350 linear feet of siding replaced and the entire job was completed within a week. The crew was wonderful in the work they did and the cleanup that took place every day. Everyday we look at our home and feel like it is "brand new!" The entire project was everything we expected and more at a price that was fair and reasonable!
Excellent workmanship , friendly, professional, knowledgeable. We are very picky people and have very high standards. The work they performed on our roof, gutters and deck ( due to hail damage) exceeded our hopes and expectations .They were 100 % true to their word with cost and timeframe and completion of work . Roof was completed in 2 days, gutters 1 day and deck 2 days . They have only the best working for them ( polite, neat, hard working, knowledgeable, highly skilled, quiet and would bend over backwards to accommodate any need we had). I cannot say enough great things about the owner ( and the workers he has hired and contracted with. ) he is highly visible and checks all the work performed on site and is helpful, resourceful and returns emails and phone calls promptly. This company came highly recommended and I too pass along that recommendation .... would hire them again without any reservation and plan on doing so anytime we are in need of their services. Many companies came through my neighborhood to fix my neighbors hail damage and I feel like the work and experience we had was so much better than anyone else experienced and have been asked countless times who repaired our hail damage because they saw how great the work was and how efficiently it was done and how neat and friendly the workers were and it looked like there was no trace of their being here except for the completed work.
